Ready to Film

It's quite exciting to start a new project, whatever you do.

For those of us who enjoy movies, the whole notion of looking forward to a project to be  filmed/made/put together is lip lickingly delicious.

Earlier, we mentioned that Michael Fassbender starts filming "Jane Eyre" next week.  He was recently interviewed about how he feels about this new project:
"I was close to doing Wuthering Heights a couple of years ago, And you don't get Heathcliff, Rochester has got to be second on the list.

"It's a great role, there are so many layers to him. He's been hurt, and there's cruelty to him which I look for ward to exploring.

"And Mia is such a great talent; she's going to be a big star."

In 'celebration' of this new project, we're going to be rereading "Jane Eyre".  Normally, we don't like to read the book before a movie comes out, because the book is always better than the movie, albeit a few have lived up to par.  There's always creative license taken with films that don't always live up to the book.

We read Jane back in middle school or high school and don't remember the story well enough to remember what happened.  So, we're going to reacquaint ourselves with Jane, Rochester and the rest of the characters.

While we're at the bookstore, we'll be looking for the Empire magazine from which the above interview has been published.  Plus we'll be looking for the March 2010 Italian Vogue magazine that has published a few nice photos of Michael and British actress Harriet Walter.
